NACA Buyers' Agent

A NACA Buyers' Agent is a real estate agent or Realtor, who has gone through NACA Realtor training.

The agent should be familiar with the NACA program, contingencies and timelines.

NACA has particular requirements such as which title company is going to be used for your closing.

NACA loans may take longer to close than conventional loans.  This needs to be taken into account when writing the offer.  If it is not taken into account than the home buyer may pay for expenses such as a home inpsection, but the purchase may not close in time.  This may force the seller to find another buyer and the buyer could lose the money they spend on their home inspection or their entire deposit.

Make sure that you, the buyer are familiar with the timeline so that you can help ensure that the proper dates are proposed in your purchase offer.

Inform your Realtor what your maximum loan amount is.  This is NOT necessarily the full amount that you are qualified for.  It may be a lower amount with payments you are more comfortable making.
